This Privacy Policy explains how Parkcast (the "App") handles information when you use the App.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not create user accounts and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, messages, advertising identifier, or payment card information through our own servers.

We do not sell personal data, do not use third-party advertising, and do not track users across apps or websites.

Location

The App asks for location access to show nearby parking facilities, calculate routes, support navigation, and provide parking availability alerts.

Your location is used by the App on your device. We do not operate a backend server that receives or stores your location.

When Apple map, routing, or location services are used, Apple may process information needed to provide those services according to Apple's own privacy practices. If you choose to open navigation in an external app, that app's privacy policy applies.

You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings.

Notifications

The App may ask for notification permission to send local alerts related to parking availability or navigation. These notifications are generated on your device.

We do not use push notification tokens and do not send notification data to our servers.

You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Local Data Stored on Your Device

The App may store preferences, favorite facilities, recent searches, recently navigated facilities, and subscription-related state locally on your device.

This local data is not sent to our servers. You can remove it by clearing relevant app data where available or by deleting the App from your device.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Apple may process purchase and subscription information according to Apple's own privacy policy and App Store terms.

Third-Party Data and Services

The App uses public parking data from Fintraffic and Apple services such as MapKit, Apple Maps, StoreKit, Core Location, and system notifications.

The App requests parking facility, utilization, and prediction data from Fintraffic. These requests do not require an account and are not intended to identify you.

Third-party services may process standard technical information needed to provide their services, such as network requests, route calculation data, or purchase status.

Data Retention and Deletion

We do not store personal data on our servers. Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it, clear it within the App where available, or uninstall the App.

Children

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
